Great kasianowak 2019-04-02 13:57

Hi Gert
Two hours in a country! That's shorter than my shortest stopover visit.
Well-composed with the bridge away from the centre of the frame. I also like the combination of the man-made structure and all the vegetation surrounding it. Your photo reminds me how green the world is away from London.
Thanks for the history lesson too. I've read a book about that period in Zambia recently - about Edward Mukuka Nkoloso.
Best wishes

Default To kasianowak: short stopover

Thank you Kasia.
My very shortest stopover anywhere was 15 minutes in Guinea, roughly 15 meters inside the country (having a friendly chat with the border guards who invited me and a few other Nordic journalists). It was so short and little and unofficial I just ignore it. Airports' transit halls also don't count, of course.
Best wishes,
