Great Waylim 2013-04-11 11:08

Namaste Angshuman,

Beautiful photo of the daily life in your country. this reminded me of the book I read called "The Hungry Tide" by Amitah Ghos. Some of the scene decribe in his book would be like this in my imagination. Beautiful glow of the light that illuminated the whole area. Love everything about it, the way the people walking in and up to the boat. It lead us and inviting us in. The color are rich with deep tone and yet very natural, I feel like being transported to a different place and time.

I am happy that you mentioned the book 'The Hungry Tide'. Actually Sunderbans, which is the setting for the book is quite close to this place...the ferries which ply there are pretty much the same. I like the region as it has still a lovely feeling of rusticness

Thanks for fav-ing this picture. Its indeed my privilege

Best Regards
Angshu
