Great willperrett 2012-07-20 0:57

Hello Anupam
I like the fact that you seem to have under-exposed your image by around 1/2 a stop: and I notice you seem to do this habitually, as do I! I find it helps to preserve highlights: as you probably know, it's easier to post-process for shadows than to try to recover burnt-out highlights. Your image benefits from a moody and dramatic mood that the slight under-exposure has given, and made the sky much more significant. Good job!
Regards
Will

Default To willperrett: Underexposed

Hi Will,

Yes I do consciously try and keep the photos a bit underexposed specially while shooting outdoor on a bright day. I always felt that itís easier to fix the exposure of a underexposed photo then a overexposed one. Sort of a habit now. Glad that you stopped by.

Warm regards,
Anupam
