Great cam 2007-08-26 5:55

Hi John
It is a pleasure for me to discover places I have been before, such as Chambord, in my pre-TE years. i like the angle of this shot, where you have included the fence as a leading point of view.
Good quality overall, but for a small tilt of the right tower, corrected by Laurent.

What lens were you using for this photo?
Have a good sunday.
Charles

Hi Charles,
Chambord is truly an architectural delight. I was using my 17-85 lens for this, but should have been using my wide angle 10-22. Do you have the 10-22? I don't take many close-up building shots, though in France I quickly learned that one needs to build skills in this regard to properly capture the country's treasures. Have a good Sunday.
John

Hi John
The 17-85 is my working lens also.
I bought the sigma 10-22. In the review I read, there is no difference in quality with the Canon 10-22, but a good difference in price, so it is recommended by all the article I read on the wide angle lenses.
here is one photo that i took with this lens

The only one on my site for now.
Quite useful
Have a good day
Charles
