Great jwmunro 2007-08-12 5:03

Good morning John -

Interesting and a very different perspective of a French château. The use of the curved railing as a leading line was well chosen. This building does remind me of the roof tops of Paris to some degree with the mansard like roof line and the garret windows. The early morning light is wonderful and a very good complement to the architecture. There is a bit of distortion to the building as the right hand walls lean out a bit but it is not too bad. I guess it is something only a digital photographer would really notice or care about. Well done.

Thank you for sharing.

Hi John. Thanks for the critique. I really am not very good at architecture shots, so any hints are helpful. This shot would have been more effective if I had used my wide angle lens and given the scene more room to breathe with perhaps a little more of the lush green background. All the best to you.
