Great joseelias 2005-07-05 9:14

Another fine castle of France. Very fine and appealing architecture. I can’t imagine how great would be to live in these houses in the 17th or 18th century. As a lord of course… ;-)

Despite the difficult light the exposure is very well controlled showing details both in the shadow and light areas. Regarding the framing it’s classical and it works, but I think that pointing the camera a bit down to place the castle near the top part and exploring the near grass foreground would create a more dramatic image which could work fine too.

The entrance is not allowed to the public.
Could you make a WS to explain your idea ?

Hi Didi,

Made a WS to explain the other framing option I've mentioned in the critique. At the time it would just be needed to point the camera a bit down. Nothing fancy... :-)
