i think this will be the hard part!

However i've went to FNAC today and saw some photo books... there's so many that covers persons... do you really believe that all of them have disclaimers of the persons?

Not trying to go illegal here... but this is really a dificult subject...

I've just saw HCB work, did we had the disclaimers of all persons in his photos? NOPE! impossible...

As we don't have ANY disclaimer to put them online either

I already started cpnversations with a lawyer friend of mine, she will give me a compilation of things required to be taken care for photo issues...

    This is an important part.

Are you rading the threads? I hope so, I remember once you posted something about the photographer´s rights in UK or somewhere else...

Can you post it again? Am I wrong? was it you?

One need to wait for Cesar's lawyer friends as law and regulations on personal image may have change since HCB took his pictures.

Also there might be other problems and this time not related to people but for example to place or building. For example I was told that pictures of many building in Paris (historical or not, monument or not) are regulated by very strict rules. The publication of picture of let says the Eiffel tower could be prone to taxes.

As Romain mentioned this can be a pain in the...neck

we have to be very careful and maybe a way to handle well this situation would be:

    - Every photographer should collect information on legal issues at his very own country.

So as an action point for all the interested it would be:
"To collect info on legal affaires on a country basis". Every contribution would be more than welcome.

    - When special cases arise (like the Eiffel tower) we have to consider and take the best possible action course. (Maybe not including the picture...)

Once a picture is published in this book, who holds the copyright? The person who took the picture, TrekEarth, the Publisher? I didn't seeem to find an answer to this question somewhere. Thanks.
