Hi Curtis - it's a very strong, wide image of the bay & sky. The city makes an almost 'cameo' appearance, but for me it's the sky & those crashing waves that are the stars of this one. Well done.

PS - I found an old roll of 35mm film last year, dropped it off at the lab & it turned out to be from my first visit to San Francisco (and Sausalito) in 1995! for an 11 year old badly stored roll of Kodak it turned out quite well.

Default To peter1892: What a delight!

I've been lamenting the fact I tossed hundreds of slides from my first trip to Europe that included two months in Greece. I'm glad you had better fortune than I did. You might want to try a technique I've been using of late, using my digital camera to take photos of old photos. It certainly works as well as scanning a photo, at least in my experience.

Perhaps you know this location since you've visited Sausalito. Fort Baker continues from the north tower of the Golden Gate Bridge and extends along the shoreline around to the Town of Sausalito. It is an amazing property with spectacular views of the bridge, the city, Alcatraz and the East Bay. We've fortunate that the land has been preserved for public use rather than sold for development.

Thanks for dropping by Peter.
