Hi John
Well I have to say, your photo of this monument is WAAAY better than mine. You were even able to get reflections, on my day it was raining really hard so that wasn't possible. In fact, I still remember being upset about it and walked away in frustration haha, because I really like this monument, its well thought out. How perfect is it that you were able to sneak in the clock tower top left too :) Glad you didn't block it off. Good for you to capture this one, it worked out so well. cheers

Hi Craig,

Thank you for your very, very kind remarks about this one!

But no, as soon as I'd finished uploading it I looked at it again and realised my mistake. I stupidly thought it best to chop off lots of white sky as well as the top of the monument - but now I look at it again I realise just how silly that was. The workshop picture (showing the monument's full height) is, I think, what I should have uploaded as the main image and, perhaps, I could have just added a closer view of one or two of the figures as a workshop. That would have been heaps better I think.

Never mind, we all make mistakes - but some of us (like me) never seem to learn from them!
