Hi Vic,

It's not highly exciting, but it does give a nice perspective. The way you took it, you can imagine what the image of the artist will look like. I'm now wondering what kind of new materials he was using... :-)

Thanks for your comment. The artist was experimenting with (what was to him) a new method of acrylic paint on card to which he had applied a base of white. He had no preliminary sketch and was working from top left to bottom right. He had completed the sky and part of the trees and bridge. I enjoyed watching the picture emerge. It seemed to me a strange way of painting but it worked for him as it was looking very good.

Hi Vic,

That sounds interesting. I should ask my mother, since she paints herself and will probably know the technique.
