Great Royaldevon 2018-09-09 3:18

Hello Stephen,

I remember this place as being the most touristy when we were there.
Your photograph is very well taken, capturing the people clearly (though the sense of movement is definitely there) and securing their leisurely mood.
Your well angled viewpoint creates a fine sense of depth and perspective.

My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Default To Royaldevon: Touristy

You are quite right, Albufeira is the most touristy by far. We would not normally have gone, but we were on holiday there in April 1984 on one of our first package deals and wanted to see how much it had changed since then. Out of all recognition, back then it was still a relatively sleepy fishing village with a slowly developing tourist industry. The main square had some lovely trees where the old men used to sit and contemplate, most of the trees are now gone and the old men with them. More's the pity.

Kind regards, have a nice Sunday afternoon. Cool and grey here today.

Stephen
