To delic: Thanks Hakan

The green is natural, this is a wet county (it's a wet country too!) and the grass as you can see is newly cut. I did use colour control points in Nikon NX to lighten the near side of the trees which...

To Dpbours: Hi Dennis

Thanks for your comment. The artist was experimenting with (what was to him) a new method of acrylic paint on card to which he had applied a base of white. He had no preliminary sketch and was...

Re: Just an observation & PLEASE- NO POINTS...

I agree wholeheartedly with your points Dan. Please see my intro. I also agree with those who say that many members who are able to take a good image often post poor images. These members devalue...

To Philippe: Thank you Philippe.

We English have the French to thank for many of our most beautiful and romantic abbeys and castles. This abbey like most, was built after the Norman (The French King William) invasion. Many of the...

To LamCam: Hi Maggie

Thanks for your input. I must admit that I took this picture as a show of pride and a future reminder of what I can do when I set my mind to it. In May of this year I weighed 17 stones 10 pounds (248...

Thank you for your comments. As I remember we approached from the east and shortly before the chateau passed underneath a bridge on a sharp left bend. Immediately on the right there is a space just...

To RSK: Hi Ron

I took this several years ago with the CP5700 but dug it out a few months back to work on in Nikon NX. The reason for using NX was the near wall which was in deep shadow and NX allows local...
