Re: Favourites

Hey shelly, I thought that might be the problem too, but I've used three different browsers and still can't see them. I can see other peoples and I can see your favorite members when I go to your...

Re: Favourites

I also can't see my list of favorite members. Everyone else seems to have the list on the right side of their overview page. Mine isn't there. At least I can't find it.

To Floydian: National Park

Hey Henk,
Its been a while. Thanks for stopping by. I have been very busy the last year or so. My camera is gathering dust.

As for Grand Staircase I hope they don't turn it into a National Park....

To Manamo: I agree

Thanks for a great critique Marc,

Re: To euryan: Ah, preferences

Wide Angle-
Oh yeah, I remember when I first got my wide angle lens. It really changes your possibilities. Every landscape shooter needs a wide angle.

Thanks for the encouragement...

To brandstaetter: Higher POV

Yes, I have more photos to post from here. The best ones are from atop the surrounding hills. The view from Osojnica was amazing. You can definitely tell that its an island in those photos. :-)

To robiuk: Pula

Yeah it was actually the bad weather that made me decide to visit Plitvice. It was super overcast and I felt that I could get better shots in Plitvice with those conditions than in Pula.
Thanks for...

Re: To euryan: Stay tuned...

I look forward to seeing the rest. While this is a very beautiful shot, I was hoping for one with more detail of the statues, not just silhouetted like this. Now I'm very excited to see the close-up...

To InasiaJones: The Caped Crusader

Hey André,
I'm a good 12-hour drive (at least) from either Mexico or Canada, so I really envy those Europeans. As for the new Batman, being an American I'll gladly take credit for it ;-) I can't...

To InasiaJones: raising the dead

André,
Your critiques are truly among the best on TE. You scrutinize, digest, and make connections with every photo you critique. I truly appreciate the time you spent in critiquing some of my older...

To cdmonson: Vignetting

Sorry for the late response Clark, and thanks for all the nice critiques lately.

About vignetting. With the sigma 10-20 I get vignetting under 12mm if the cokin filter holder is vertical and I'm...

To cdmonson: Ruined Photos

Thanks Clark,
Unfortunately I don't have many photos from my trip to Canada. One reason is because I was shooting film back then, but the main reason is because the lab that developed my photos...

To veronika: Not Antelope.

Hey Vero,
Although it looks similar, this is not Antelope Canyon. This canyon is a lot smaller, and a lot more remote. I have posted photos of Antelope Canyon in the past though.
Thanks for the...

Re: How do you deal with those gas prices????

You are comparing apples to oranges Ulf. First of all, there is a visible effort to reduce energy consumption. I see it everyday. I could list many, many ways we as individuals and as a community...

Kari,
I'm glad not owning a car works for you over in Finland, but think about this. America is a huge country. Everything is spread out. Public transport in big cities might be possible but not in...

To plimrn: Four Dwarfs

Ha, you’re right, they do resemble dwarfs. Maybe I should have named it Sneezy, Bashful, Dopey, and Grumpy. If only there were three more rocks.
Take care,
Ryan
