    Hello Piotr,

    What a sumptuous interior!
The ivory coloured walls and stairs are decorated by wonderful gilded details, the richness continuing by way of the plush, red carpet.
It's a fine aspect, guiding us upwards to experience the interior as we progress.
Maybe you could have cropped the half figure on the stairs!

    My warm regards,

    Hello jean,

I have seen many photographs of the wall and this is one of those which I like best. You have really included us into the scene, inviting us to walk the wall with this figure in red shorts. The details of the wall, with its stepped sections, is spread before us and guides us succinctly across the frame.
Excellent light and sense of height.

    My warm regards,

    Hello Jorge,

Like Gert, I'm not sure if this is in monochrome or the smog is particularly thick but I can tell that this is a very well composed photograph, the bridge creating the distinctive frame around which the boats can be placed. The hazy islands beyond create the sense of depth.

    My warm regards,

    Hello Jean,

Three fine photographs which conjure up the mood of dark winter days and relentless waves.
Your photographs are almost monochrome, which helps to purvey the mood.
I like your w/s as much as this, all nicely composed.

You are doing a fine job removing plastic.
I have just been to a meeting where discussions occurred about how the council can reduce its carbon footprint. We are all becoming aware of the sad plight of our planet!

    Hello Kari,

I'm surprised that you didn't post this last year as it is such a beautiful photograph but ... I know, sometimes a new expedition takes precedence, no matter how many good shots remain unseen!
The single tree is really strongly placed, whilst the colours around its base unite the whole scene, and its spreading branches seem to be inviting viewers to look at the b/g trees.

    My warm regards,

    Hello Christine,

Yes, a bridge, too far but how good it looks with those pebbles and the then the river as the f/g.
From the top of the church, there were transfers on the windows so you could pretend that soldiers were parachuting towards the bridge.

We did have some good memories from this city, despite the inclement weather!

    Hello Kasia,

This is a strikingly beautiful photograph.
The tree trunks have helped a little in this contre jour shot, protecting from some of the rays and allowing those present to give the appearance of a star as they radiate across the silhouettes.
I love the effect of the long shadows from the tree trunks; they spread like a fan.

It was interesting to see the riverside buildings raised on stilts. Perhaps we could learn from this technique in some of our flood risk areas.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello John,

These rural tracts are so important for people to enjoy, away from the hustle and the bustle of city life. Just looking at a scene, like this, begins to create a sense of relaxation.

You have incorporated the autumnal carpet of leaves to add a warmth to the mood. I am surprised at how many leaves are still on the trees, at the end of October, most of our trees were almost naked!
You have used the f/g tree well, it helps to direct inwards and creates a good sense of depth.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Chris,

Although this is a ruin, the parts which have survived complement each other and appear like a shelter, though of a very archaic style!
The stones seem to link in with the building in the b/g.
You have done a good job of excluding the traffic cones, which would seriously have affected the atmosphere of this ancient site.

    My warm regards,

    Hello Lars,

I'm glad that you explained the details of this advert for it does look very authentic. Possibly it was a copy of an advert that as there previously.
This is a really good bit of street art. It is colourful, well painted and tells us a lot about the style of car in the 1912's. Wow, this was the ultimate! I wonder how the people from that era would relate to modern cars!
Is the parking info pertinent to modern times?
It appears as if the single figure is addressing a parking metre.
Your photo is very well cropped so all the info relates to what you want to show. Though modern, it seems like a real blast from the past!

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Krzysztof,

There seem to be a lot of museums in your country and you make a very good job of sharing them with your friends on TE. I think places like this are important to record how things used to be before we had such easy access to machinery and electricity!
This looks like a formidable piece of farm memorabilia. The steering wheel suggests that it was powered by an engine, rather than horses, yet it has a huge bar at the front!
    I'm not sure!
However, that is very much my lack of experience rather than a fault with your photograph, which is perfectly sharp, with natural colours.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Serge,

Those leaf colours are so warm, they are the colours that I chose for our living room, so that even in a cold winter, things seem warm!
The three trees in the m/g act as a way of creating a good sense of depth to the most vibrant part of the photograph, the line of trees with stunning colours.
The sky looks ominous! Maybe winter weather was just on its way!

    Hello Ike,

Well observed, the horse's/dragon's head on the prow of the boat. It makes a very attractive focal point and you have shown it well against the white of the adjacent boat.
The reflection is a bonus in the green water.

I researched the name of the boat, which means 'I thought', I wonder how that name came about! Perhaps belonging to a favourite person.

I cannot imagine how wonderful this must be to walk amongst wild birds and interact with them as you have done!
Penguins have such a upright stature and though sometimes struggle on land, are perfectly shaped for darting through the water!

    Ciao Caro Luciano,

I really prefer one large photograph and the others as w/s, which makes it easier to concentrate on the skill of the photographer, but, in this case, I understand why you have combined the scenes; without actual people, you were more interested in portraying the daily life skills of the people. It would have been difficult to see these activities executed by real people in their homes!
I like your w/s, showing the artistry of the sign and the interesting effects of the light.

    My warm regards,

    Hello Mariusz,

I remember your previous shots and the need to keep hydrated.
I suppose that living in our country, we are less aware of the need to carry water!
This is a beautiful spot, no wonder a bench has been situated there, to allow people to linger and take in the splendid view.
I like how you have used the fencing to compact the lower part of the frame, to contain the tree and its lovely patterns of shadows. Beyond, there is a very steep sense of depth!

    Hi Miguel,
what a sad story indeed. I don't know much about the history of this region. It seems it was not pretty.
The couple makes indeed a nice romantic touch especially colorful with the lady wearing so bright colors.
I am not sure if the word "lovers" fits well here. I think it rather assumes much about their relationship, which may be true but is not apparent from the scene.
    Very well seen and captured,
    M
