I think this is an excellent photograph and I believe the presence of the car is intended to convey a message about the fragility of earth's beauty that cannot be conveyed by a postcard picture of trees. We want to see and learn about earth through photographs -here is one that speaks of the dichotomy and vulnerability of our world.

Hello Bulent,
This is a lovely face, and you have captured it very well. I actually prefer your presentation of this rabbi to the Rembrandt painting!! The reason is that the sideways glance, and hint of a smile, make a strong impression on me. The tight crop and choice of B/W also make this a strong photo.

With the behind one large tree, there is a lovely radial pattern created by the shadows of the group. It was quite by accident that I discovered your superb gallery. It is a pleasure to see some of your postings, and to discover that you are a National Geographic photographer. National Geographic Books published my last last book. Hello Andrew,
I like this view of the cathedral, including the cobblestone street, and the lovely yellow buildings on either side. I have seen photos of the cathedral before, but never from this POV. The small, green kiosk also adds a lovely splash of color to the scene.
