Interesting image, and somehow funny too.
They (and you) are really in the middle of nowhere.
Also the sky with clouds similar in any direction enahnces this impression.

Très bel intérieur d'église que tu nous présentes aujourd'hui. Dommage que l'on ne puisse pas voir l'autel même car ta prise de vue privilégie les plafonds de la nef et du choeur. j'aurais opté pour un shot au format portrait.
Par ailleurs, ta galerie regorge de superbes images de vestiges romains que je découvre. Compliments !

Yes, you are right: the landscape here is so fine and with those weather conditions has a special atmosphere. Especially that low cloud makes the foto very attractive. It looks like the scene of a film...

Hello Achim,

When we visit a site we are consumed with wonderful emotions and memories and it is not always easy, especially with ruined sites, to pass this on to the viewers. However, your pov, sharp focus and inclusion of interesting details has overcome any such problems! I find this an amazing place and would love to visit it too!

Ah, the FJ Holden, or is it an FX, bit hard to tell considering what is left of it.
A timely reminder that when one gets old our society just throws you onto the scrap heap.

Attention de ne pas entrer en collision avec le Taj qui surgit de nulle part
Une vraie purée de poix qui donne une certaine attraction à cette composition.
Le moment de prise de vue était bien choisi.
